The Gay Parade
The Gay Parade is a concept album by the band Of Montreal, their third full-length release. It has been called "indie pop's very own Sgt. Pepper" by Allmusic reviewer Jason Ankeny.[1]
It is the first collaboration with frontman Kevin Barnes' brother David, who has since designed the artwork for every forthcoming Of Montreal album. As the album cover depicts, The Gay Parade is a child-like exaltation of everyday life.
